The Voice’s fourth season continued with blind auditions this week. The two-hour Monday night episode consisted of the coaches trying to build a talented team, adding to their arsenal of singers. Blake managed to grab The Swon Brothers, a country duo, who seemed open to all of the coaches, except for Adam. After a great rendition of Britney Spears’ “Baby One More Time”, it appears voters are still swooning. After he was saved, it came down to Mathai and Katrina Parker for Team Adam. Both singers battled each other in a sing-off for Adam Levine.
After Mathai went with Carrie Underwood’s “Cowboy Casanova” and Parker chose Pink’s “Perfect”, Levine struggled with his choice, saying “it breaks my heart to choose between the “infectious” Mathai and the “diamond in the rough” Parker. The Voice is still one of the most popular singing competions on the tube. But after broadcasting the first live elimination show, it’s a bit of a red flag that the ratings have dipped to a season low audience.
