After a truly difficult double elimination last week, just four dancers remain in ABC’s Dancing With The Stars competition. The show returns tonight for the semifinals episode, just one week out from the finale.
Listen, I have nothing against Hollie Cavanaugh, but Christ that took a long time to get her off the show. I think she’s fine. Good singer. But she wasn’t going to win the show and I’m amazed how long she lasted. She had a “George Castanza’s parents” vibe, where unusual circumstances kept her lingering around for longer than needed.
The surprise double elimination night didn’t really present any surprises Tuesday night. Two fan favorites are off the show, but the two betting favorites still remain. Roshon Fegan and Melissa Gilbert got the axe after a difficult double-dance episode of Dancing With The Stars in which contestants were asked to do a traditional number, then drive it home with a Latin Number.
